Linkendin is an online website used for networking.

Affordances:It makes it easy to keep in touch with many different people from different networks.It is free to join.It is a professional site.You can search for job postings, or have it send you a message when there is a job opening or posting.It is the future of networking. Linkedin is much like facebook, however, a grown up facebook. Instead of becoming friends with a person, you have them join your network. You can search for people not only who go to the same school as you, or you know from a class, but you can search for people according what they can offer you.

I would say this network is a great one to be apart of. On a scale from one to five, i would give it a five. There are no silly applications like facebook, so prospective bosses won't look up your profile and judge you when they are thinking of hiring you for their company. It can only help you, in the search for a job and to become a networking node.
